The brief was to create a visual brand identity for a craft beer brand. The brand values are innovative, traditional, relaxing, and artsy. They wanted a beach theme, avoiding the tropical beach clichés. With a metropolitan professional audience.

Solution

The logo features a triangle icon representing the lighthouse from the beach town where the beer originates. The colour palette is a triad of complementary colours, offering the business a colour scheme to use for beer categories. The painting brush effect creates a relaxing yet artsy vibe. Focusing heavily on the blue, creating a kinetic energy that would be found in the ocean.

The typography is a sans-serif, allowing for easy readability on digital platforms where they would want to focus a large portion of their marketing budget to target metropolitan professionals online. While the brand identity can be seen rolled out across multiple touch points. Highlighting its successful future implementation, when the brand goes to launch.
