Over the year, I was briefed on supporting Belazu in the creation of their digital and printing marketing assets. The briefs would target all levels of the marketing funnel with an emphasis on brand awareness, especially since securing a place in major supermarkets. This meant that Belazu was no longer selling to high-end restaurants but offering products to consumers. However, the core brand message stayed the same. Belazu was the premium supplier of Mediterranean food.
Solution
I started building brand awareness by creating organic static and video social media posts that combined product photography and food photography, boosting audience reach across Instagram. Set up photo shoots to provide imagery for our recipe blogs as part of a content strategy and for their e-commerce site.
Drove conversion rates by designing affiliate banners for paid ad strategies, homepage banners to advertise new products, creating discount stickers for product images and creating POS prints for use at events and supermarkets. I also work on the Belazu stand during major food festivals such as Taste of London.
Lastly, I introduced a recipe booklet as part of their Christmas hampers, as a method to create customer loyalty and repeat purchasing while reducing emails asking for tips on how to use remaining products. Overall, working at Belazu was an amazing opportunity, and I’d love to work with more food businesses.
